2008 REGIONAL TROPHY – FIVE DAYS PUGLIA

The experimental formula of “Five Days Puglia” (three races in the Umbra Forest and two in the historical city centres) studied for the 2008 edition of the Regional Trophy has revealed itself as a success. The Orienteering Queen: Katarina Borg
A great name in the panorama of world wide orienteering will be present in Puglia during the 5 Days: the Swedish Katarina Borg, listed in the W21.
Mother of 4 children, just over 40, Katarina had a great come back during the last year in antagonistic sports winning last April the 3 days International in Belgium in the Elite category.

After the important meeting with the organizing committee and the municipal representatives of Vico and Mount Saint Angelo of the Umbra Forest, a change has been made with respect to the original program:
The 2 races in the city have been inverted – on June 24th the race will be in Mount Saint Angelo and onf June 25th the final race in Vico. This has been done firstly to facilitate the return of the athletes as Vico is closer to the race centre in Hotel Baia Santa Barbara and
