 Catalano Village (first race of MOC 2007)- Castellaneta Marina Taranto-Puglia. It is situated in a one biggest sandy coast in Italy, between the coast of Taranto and Metaponto. All the residence/Event centre is dipped in the magnificent and secular incontaminate pine-forest of Aleppo's pines, that reaches to the sea.
Orienteering Academy Catalano was introduced here in nature the original Arena of this magnificent our orienteering sport in Mediterranean area.
 So it is the first permanent O-Academy in Mediterranean Area. In the ray of 50 km we have ready by end of this year 20 kmq of new maps. Academy Catalano is farway from Matera about 40 km and from Alberobello 60km. Other 15 kmq of map are ready in the area within ray of 100-120 km.
But orienteering in not only the menu in Catalano's city: swimming pools, football fields, golf courses, mountain bike in combination with many other opportunities make catalano's city a sport pearl in the Puglia Region.
